Dentures are a well¬ established treatment for missing teeth. They can be removed whenever required. Modern dentures are customised to easily fit into your mouth, and often have a lifespan of several years.

There are 2 major types of dentures available: complete or partial. A complete or full denture is often made from acrylic (plastic). They serve to replace all of your original teeth in either the upper or the lower jaw. A partial denture fills out the spaces that have missing teeth.

Partial dentures can be affixed to your natural teeth with steel clasps for better retention. Similar to a full denture, the partial denture can be built from acrylic. Alternatively, they may contain acrylic teeth on a light metal alloy base.
